Music sheets for each instrument are included in the "Breaking Brain" Limited Edition CD, though the contest is open to all instruments. It is a quality production, for those, who appreciate and enjoy an instrumental band that maneuvers between tight, quirky progressive metal, jazz-rock and RIO, this CD by Panzerballett is one that warrants an inspection. Just not my cup of tea.

It warms my heart to hear young musicians still exploring that vocabulary and finding new and interesting way to apply it to modern progressive music.
A second and third run of Euroblast made me realize the beauty of the fusion minded music; absolutely fantastic guitar parts take me back to the days I only listened to instrumental fusion and weird guitar music.

Where I was afraid Panzerballett would start to repeat itself, it shows Breaking Braintakes a slight turn towards the more fusion side of their music. This song is both extremely progressive as beautiful fusion minded, both worlds collide during this happening. A very tasteful player who possesses the chops braeking shredding and the restraint to only use them when absolutely necessary which is a rarity in my experience.

Euroblast is a jazz rock theme with adventurous sax playing, overpowered with deep dark djenty guitar outbursts, something that became one of the band's trademarks. The tracks work individually but I think the album is best experienced as a whole.
The coloration offered by paring the saxophone with the tightly controlled prog metal arrangements really gives Panzerballett a unique sonic signature. Our former distributor is moving, and he found some DVDs in his basement.
